Strobe Power Operations, LLC (“Strobe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software, control systems, and related services that support the monitoring, optimization, and operation of distributed energy resources and energy assets (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when individuals or organizations interact with our website, software platform, hardware integrations, or other Services.
This Privacy Policy applies to customers, prospective customers, authorized users, and other individuals whose information we process in connection with the Services. Use of the Services is also governed by Strobe’s Terms of Service.

Energy and utility data, such as consumption or generation data, meter identifiers, service addresses, and billing information

How We Use Information

This includes enabling customers to monitor and manage distributed energy resources, analyze system performance, and participate in grid services, demand response programs, and electricity market programs where applicable.
Operational data allows us to support energy optimization, forecasting, analytics, and system reliability. It also allows us to diagnose technical issues, improve platform functionality, and ensure that connected energy assets operate as expected.

Data Rights and Use of Service Data
Customers retain ownership of the information they provide to Strobe. However, Strobe may access, process, and use customer data as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
Operation of the Services generates operational, telemetry, and system performance data. Strobe may use this information for internal business purposes such as analytics, benchmarking, product development, forecasting, system optimization, and improving the reliability and capabilities of the platform.
Strobe may also create aggregated, de-identified, or derived datasets from information generated through the Services. These datasets will not identify specific individuals, customers, or facilities. Strobe retains ownership of such datasets and may use them for lawful business purposes, including improving products and services, developing new features, conducting research and analytics, and understanding broader energy system trends.
SMS Communications
If SMS-based authentication or notifications are enabled for an account, Strobe may send transactional text messages such as:
One-time passcodes
Account verification messages
Security alerts
Service-related notifications
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier.
Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages or HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS messages may disable certain authentication or security features associated with the Services. Strobe does not send marketing text messages without additional consent where required by law.
How We Share Information
We may share information with:
Service providers and vendors that help operate the Services
Utilities, electricity market operators, or program administrators involved in grid services, demand response, or electricity market programs
Regulatory or governmental authorities where required by law
Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, or financial advisors

Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website and platform may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain user sessions, improve functionality, understand how visitors interact with the site, and analyze platform performance. Users may manage cookie settings through their browser settings.
Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
